Dozens of kittens are waiting for a few good owners to scoop them up at the 2nd Annual Kitten Adopt-A-Thon at the MSPCA in Boston.

The center has been inundated with kittens this summer, with more than 300 were surrendered in August. That's nearly double the amount received last summer.

Many of the kittens were placed in foster homes throughout the Boston area, and now they're ready for permanent homes. 40 neutered and spayed kittens are available for adoption this weekend.

The adoption fee is $200, and includes vaccinations and micro-chip IDs. The Adopt-A-Thon will be held today, from 4pm-7pm at the center located on 350 South Huntington Ave.
