Cat's Paw is a light puff of wind in America enough to cause a patch of ripples on water. Cat's Paw is a light breeze that affects a small area. A Chinook is a dry warm wind from the west which blows down the east slopes of the Rockies. A Zephyr is another term for wind which originated in the Mediterranean regions to describe a soft, gentle breeze from the west. Santa Clara is the name of a town in California. Santa Ana is the name given to hot down sloping winds from the mountains of California into the desert southwest to the coast of California typically fueling fires especially in the fall.
