Correct Answer: b) sunny... 22 am to 45 degrees pm

The best maple sap flow occurs the lower the temperature goes before 32 at night followed by the higher it goes above freezing by day. So the greatest spread below 32 to above 32 yields the most sap in a sunny environment. Wind is not a factor.
