Miasia, Aaliyha and Joshua are active siblings of African American descent who enjoy participating in various activities.
They currently live together in the same foster home and are willing to be placed in separate adoptive families.
Maintaining contact with each other will be important to them if they are placed apart.
All three children are seeking a Christian family and would like to continue attending church. They all have great voices and love to sing in the church choir.
MIASIA
Miasia is a social, outgoing 13-year-old who enjoys playing sports.
One of her favorite sports is swimming, and she is currently taking a karate class. Like most girls her age, Miasa also enjoys shopping.
In school, Miasia is working at grade level in school and benefits from the services she receives to help her behaviorally as well as to help her stay focused.
When she gets older, Miasa has said she may like to join the Air Force and learn to fly a plane.
AALIYHA
Quiet, sweet, active, fun, pretty, nice, polite and athletic are a few of the words that best describe 11-year- old Aaliyha.
You may find Aaliyha on the basketball court, in the swimming pool or roller-skating in the local park. She has recently started a karate class and is learning how to play the saxophone.
Aaliyha is on target in school where she benefits from her Individualized Educational Plan. She easily follows the rules and expectations both at home and at school.
Aaliyha's favorite subject in school is math, and she may like to grow up to become a doctor.
JOSHUA
Joshua is an outgoing, funny and handsome 10-year-old boy who loves to be outside playing football, swimming or fishing.
When Joshua cannot be outside, he keeps himself busy with karate lessons, video games, watching movies and television.
Joshua has caught the acting bug and recently played the role of Barack Obama in his school play.
Joshua does well in school where he tries hard to succeed and, like his sister, has no trouble following the rules and meeting expectations.
Growing up to become a football player or a police officer are Joshua's choices for future aspirations.
Legally free for adoption, Miasia, Aaliyha and Joshua are open to families of all backgrounds and have specific wants.
Miasia would ideally like to be placed with an active single mother with lots of availability to include her in activities.
She would do well in a home as the only child or with no children close to her age.
Miasia would consider a two-parent, mom and dad family where the dad is patient, kind, understanding and soft-spoken.
Aaliyha and Joshua would like to be placed together and are interested in a family with a mom and dad, or single mom where there's a positive male role model for Josh.
They would do fine with other children, preferably if those children were not in their age group.
Aaliyha and Joshua have an open adoption agreement with their birthmother.
This trio has much to bring to families willing to offer them the love and consistency they need to continue to succeed.
