This Jamian is a polite and talented 11-year-old of Hispanic descent.
WBZ
With a natural musical ability, Jamian enjoys performing for others. This polite and talented 11-year-old of Hispanic descent is taking piano lessons, and in the past, he has played the snare drum in his school band. He also likes to sing and write songs. The adults in his life even go as far as describing Jamian as musically gifted. This budding entertainer also likes looking the part and dressing well. Jamian's social worker is seeking an adoptive family who could foster and encourage Jamian's interest in music and the arts.
In school, Jamian's favorite subjects are music, reading and history. He is an excellent student, typically earns A's and B's, and shows leadership qualities. Jamian was a member of his school's academic bowl team, where he participated in academic competitions. He is in the sixth grade and has good conduct in school. In Jamian's current placement, he benefits from structure and is working hard at learning how to accept limits.
Jamian is legally free for adoption and would do well in a two-parent family of any constellation, as an only child or with older siblings. An experienced family willing to work with Jamian as he gets to know and trust them would be ideal. This intelligent young man has much to bring to a family who can be committed to him as he works through challenges. With a family's love and support, the possibilities for Jamian are endless.
