Wednesday's Child: 11-Year-Old Justin
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Justin is a friendly and active youngster who thrives on being on the "go."
He likes the outdoors and playing sports, including basketball and baseball.
He is also enjoys drawing and making creative art projects.
Justin very much wants to be a part of family where he can finally belong.
Justin, 11, currently lives at a residential home.
He does well in small group situations and with one-on-one attention from adults.
He likes helping others and enjoys the recognition for his individual achievements.
Justin can be thoughtful and likes to show his appreciation by making cards and drawing pictures for others.
Academically, Justin is working below grade level.
His strongest subject is math.
Justin has been observed to be a self-motivator capable of doing anything he sets his mind to.
Justin has been through a lot of hardships, but he is a resilient boy who has developed empathy for others and skills to deal with frustrations.
He has made all around progress academically, emotionally and socially.
With stability from an adoptive family, he will continue to progress and reach his full potential.
Legally free for adoption, Justin hopes for an understanding, supportive and loving family that will stick with him.
Ideally, he would like to be an only child in home with a mom, dad and a pet dog.
Justin's social worker believes Justin will do well in an active single or two-parent home with much older siblings if there were other children.
