Patrick is an energetic, fun-loving 7-year-old boy of African American descent who loves to sing, dance and entertain. Often times, Patrick is seen playing positively with his peers and gets along with everyone. He recently moved into a new foster home and has done well with the transition, but he is looking forward to joining a family of his own. Patrick hopes for a big family in which he could have siblings.
A handsome and friendly youngster, Patrick can sometimes be shy and soft-spoken. He quickly warms up once he meets someone new. He loves to play outdoors and ride his bicycle. During quieter times, Patrick loves to watch Spiderman movies, play with his action figures, color and paint. He is a healthy eater and loves fruit.
Patrick is currently in the first grade and attends an afterschool program to assist him with his homework. He is on target academically and may need help focusing his attention. Patrick might like to become a firefighter when he grows up. He is very curious and loves to ask lots of questions. He is also observant and good with directions. Legally free for adoption, Patrick would benefit from being in any family in which there may be other children the same age or younger than him.
To learn more about Patrick, and about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at 617-54-ADOPT (617-542-3678) or visit
www.mareinc.org. The sooner you call, the sooner a waiting child will have "a permanent place to call HOME."
