Wednesday's Child: 11-Year-Old Robert

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Robert is a polite, respectful Latino boy who gets along well with adults and is similarly very good at making friends amongst his peers. A very active 11-year-old, Robert loves both physical activities like basketball, baseball and bicycle riding, but is also content watching television and movies, and playing video games. Like many boys his age, he would love to become a professional athlete one day.

Robert hopes to find a family that can give him the love, stability and support to realize his dreams.

Robert speaks both English and Spanish and is doing well at school where he continues to improve on completing his work. In his current foster home, Robert gets along well with his foster parents and siblings. He enjoys participating in family activities and is looking forward to joining a family of his own soon.

Robert would do well with an active family with other children either the same age or slightly older than he. It is very important that Robert's adoptive family support him in maintaining contact with his four siblings and birth parents. Currently, he has two visits a year with his family members. Robert is legally free for adoption.
